What we collect and who can see it

Only what the product needs: your name, phone number, email, locality, and — for workers — the trade you do, your experience and expected wage. Employers add a business name and type. Nothing else is required, and we do not ask for identity documents.

Hiring here happens on the phone, so your number is shown to the other side of a connection: employers see the number of workers who apply to their job, and workers see the number on a job they are viewing. If you do not want your number visible, do not create a listing or apply.

We do not sell your data. We do not pass your number to advertisers or to anyone who is not part of a hiring connection you started. We do not charge to reveal contact details.

Passwords are stored only as salted scrypt hashes — we cannot read them, and neither can anyone who obtains the database. Sessions use signed, HTTP-only cookies. Sensitive actions are recorded in an audit log so account changes can be traced.

We are building around the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023: collecting only what is needed for a stated purpose, obtaining consent at signup, and supporting access, correction and erasure. Full operational compliance — including a named Data Protection Officer and a formal grievance process — is required before we operate at scale, and we do not claim certification today.

Ask through the contact page and we will remove your profile, listings and applications. Audit entries may be retained where the law requires, and messages already sent to another person over WhatsApp or a phone call are outside our control.
